Michael began his career at Blackstone before becoming a generalist / short-biased hedge fund analyst. As an analyst, he generated investment ideas, conducted deep dive research, and evaluated ~X00 companies and special situations across US and international equities. Outside of investing, Michael has worked on side projects ranging from a food startup, to whiskey distilleries, to startup diligence. Combining his passion for information problems and startups, he founded ResearchRabbit in 2019 (acq. 2025).

For his PhD, Benjamin solved the structure and discovered functional regions of immune receptor PD-1H/VISTA. After completing his PhD at Yale, Benjamin co-founded ResearchRabbit. Benjamin also loves physical products, having designed and programmed a robotic payload deployed from a rocket at 1-mile altitude.

Sukhpal implemented Surgical Theater's tech in live operating rooms alongside world-renowned brain surgeons across Mayo Clinic, NYU, and Stanford. He later led the engineering team to productize and automate surgical workflows using AI, and invented a patent that enabled the platform to scale. Thereafter, he led global go-to-market and partnerships, striking partnerships with Medtronic, Intel, HP, among others.
